 · I intend to buy a used Subaru Impreza WRX MY I require an automatic transmission. The problem is 90%+ used cars of this model available for sale are Manual transmission (I have heard the 4-speed automatic option at the time for these cars was not well received either).  · If you want a manual transmission in a Subaru Crosstrek or Impreza, you can still get one, but not for long. There are three reasons why the manual will be dead soon.  · IMHO its gonna be a waste of time and money for the swap. Either learn to love it or trade for a 5 speed. Check out ARFab's auto impreza. It goes ten's and was built for an employee with one arm and one leg. I do beleive they tweeked the auto trans a bit, but its pretty bad ass!
